Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Lifesergic is operated by Abstract Technologies, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“Abstract Technologies,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). Lifesergic is a personal life dashboard: you chat with a neural network, and the people, work, places, goals, and decisions you talk about become a private knowledge graph. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Lifesergic, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information we collect
Account information
- Basic account and profile information from the third-party sign-in provider you use to authenticate, such as your name, email address, and profile picture.
- Optional profile details you choose to provide (display name and an “about you” description).
Content you create
- The messages you send to the neural network in chat.
- The graph you build, nodes, connections, descriptions, and the health/status of life areas, whether created by you or inferred by the neural network from your conversations.
- A rolling “context summary” the neural network maintains to remember your situation across sessions.
Automated observations (inferences)
- The Service generates observations about areas of your life from what you share, such as a status score for a goal, relationship, or health area, importance estimates, summaries, and periodic reports. These inferences become part of your graph.
Information about other people
- The people you mention in chat, or in conversations you import, may become entries in your private graph. Only add information about others that you have the right to share.
- If you invite someone to Lifesergic, we collect the name and email address you provide and use them to operate the invitation feature, including sending the invitation on your behalf and recognizing whether it was accepted.
Data you import (optional)
- If you use the import feature, you may upload a conversation export from a supported third-party neural network chat service. The export is processed to extract conversation text that is used to build your graph. We use this data to provide, operate, and improve the service and our business functionality.
Payments and subscription (if you subscribe)
- Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor, which collects your payment details and handles them under its own privacy policy.
- We store your subscription status, plan and price, billing period dates, and related transaction metadata (such as a customer reference), so the service knows what you have access to.
- If you discuss pricing with the in-product assistant or complete the cancellation flow, we keep a record of those conversations and the reasons and feedback you provide.
Devices and notifications
- If you enable notifications in our mobile apps, we store a device push token so we can deliver them, along with the platform you signed up on.
Automatically collected
- Standard log, device, and usage information collected automatically when you use the service.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies, including to sign you in and keep your session secure, to attribute invitations when you follow an invite link, and to remember preferences on your device. We also use a randomly generated identifier stored in your browser for analytics, such as counting visits to our public pages. We and our advertising partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure whether our ads lead to sign-ups or purchases. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
4. How we use information
We use the information we collect for purposes including:
- To provide the core service, power the chat and build, update, and display your knowledge graph.
- To assess how areas of your life are doing (the health view) based on what you share.
- To maintain context so the neural network gives more relevant, personalized responses.
- To secure the service and prevent abuse.
- To manage subscriptions, process payments through our payment processor, and prevent billing abuse.
- To communicate with you about the service.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We may use the information we collect to operate, maintain, secure, improve, and develop the service and our business, including to build, train, evaluate, and refine our features, models, and analytics.
5. Third-party processing
We may send your information to third-party services to support and improve the service and our business, including the construction of your graph and other features.
6. Service providers
We use third-party service providers to help us operate and provide Lifesergic, for example, for authentication, hosting, infrastructure, processing, payments, and security. These providers may process information on our behalf in connection with the service.
7. Business transfers
If Lifesergic is involved in a corporate transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, corporate reorganization, formation of or transfer to a successor entity, bankruptcy, or a sale of some or all of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction or shared with parties evaluating it.
8. Advertising measurement
We may share information with advertising platforms to measure and improve how our marketing performs, such as an identifier for a transaction that followed one of our ads. Depending on where you live, this may be considered “sharing” of personal information for advertising purposes; you can opt out as described in the section on regional rights below.
9. Pricing conversations
If you discuss pricing with the in-product assistant, we may use your account information and parts of your graph, such as the names of some of your most important items, to personalize that conversation and any offer we make. Offers can differ between users and over time, and the price shown at checkout is the price you agree to. We keep records of these conversations, the offer, and the outcome.
10. Sensitive information
Lifesergic is designed to map your life, so the content you choose to share may include information about your health, finances, relationships, or other personal topics. We use that content as described in this policy. Where the law requires consent to process this kind of information, you provide it by choosing to share the content. Please share only what you are comfortable storing, and do not add information about others that you do not have the right to share.
11. Data security
We take reasonable measures designed to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
12. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, such as to access, correct, delete, or export it, or to manage your sign-in access. To exercise any rights you may have, contact us at hey@lifesergic.com.
13. Additional information for certain regions
EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland. We process your information to perform our contract with you (providing the service), for our legitimate interests (securing and improving the service, preventing abuse, and measuring our marketing), with your consent where required, and to comply with legal obligations. We are based in the United States and process information there; where required, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms, such as standard contractual clauses with our service providers. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
US state privacy rights. Depending on your state, you may have the right to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale or sharing of personal information. To exercise these rights, including any opt-out, contact hey@lifesergic.com or use the controls we provide. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals where required by law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may appeal a decision on your request by replying to our response.
14. Data retention and deletion
We retain your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can deactivate your account in the app where that option is available, and you can request deletion of your personal information by emailing hey@lifesergic.com; we will act on verified requests as required by applicable law. We may retain aggregated or de-identified information.
15. Children's privacy
Lifesergic is not directed to children under 13, or under the minimum age of digital consent in their jurisdiction where that age is higher, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice as required by applicable law, for example by posting the updated policy, showing a notice in the service, or emailing you. Changes take effect when posted unless we state otherwise, and your continued use of the service after they take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
